Do you want to learn how to make the math classroom more relevant and applicable to real life? FiCycle and the Microsoft Excel Collegiate Challenge (MECC) are excited to invite you to sign up and start training for the 2025 Spreadsheet Challenge, a first-of-its-kind competition for teachers!

What is it?

A chance for teachers to test their Excel knowledge, grow and learn new skills for the classroom, and compete for prizes – all while earning digital badges to showcase your achievements.

How it works:

• Start Training:
  Once registered, you’ll get access to video walkthroughs and prep materials to help you excel at the challenge cases
• Compete Online before NCTM:
  Challenge Cases Open: October 10
  Challenge Cases Close: October 17 at 1:30 PM ET
  Cases: A Gradebook Case + a Financial Math Case (30 minutes each)
• Live Training & Awards Ceremony:
  October 17, 2:30 PM ET | Exhibit Hall Theatre 1
  NCTM Annual Meeting, Atlanta, GA

Prizes:

• $250 Top Prize (must be present at NCTM to win)
• $100 Prizes for 2nd and 3rd place scorers
